Zeus (Park Avenue Zeus) and Cleopatra (Indian Trails Cleopatra, “Patra”) are our two precious Bordeauxs that live with us in our home.They are constantly at our side and travel with Jason (proud owner) to work. We fell in love with this breed about 8 years ago and could not imagine life without them. Zeus became our first family member about 7 years ago and Patra joined the family in December of 2005.

Zeus is a handsome, well mannered gentleman that wants nothing more than to be at his master’s side. He has grown up traveling from home to work with Jason as part of his daily routine. While Jason’s grandfather was living, Zeus would keep him company during the working day. Since he has passed we brought Patra into our home as a companion for Zeus.

Patra is a fun-loving, adorable match for Zeus. His gentle nature seems to calm her curiosity. She, too, is crazy about her master, often sitting beside him on the sofa with her chin on his shoulder.

After much research, we feel that we have two dogues that represent the breed well, so we have decided to combine their traits. Both have world champion bloodlines ... Park Avenue and Tanakajd Szepe and are in excellent health. Our dogues are well socialized with humans (including small children) and other dogs. We have several acres for our dogues to roam which provides plenty of room for exercising.

Zeus and Patra recently whelped seven healthy puppies on December 13th, 2007. The litter consists of four males and three females. Our puppies will receive all vaccinations, veterinary references, and we will provide health guarantees. Visitors are welcome and references are gladly provided. We are committed to providing a lifetime of support for our puppies and their new owners. As a contribution to the breed we will donate a percentage of the proceeds to the Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue Society for the needs of abandoned dogues.

Registered with UKC & AKC-FSS, from world champion bloodlines of Park Avenue and Tanakajd Szepe. Puppies will come with current vaccinations, worming, and health guarantees. We are now taking deposits and puppies will be ready for their news homes in mid February.

We love our dogues and want to find them the best homes. We reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone for any reason. These dogues are hot natured and need to live inside or in a cool place. If you purchase one of our dogues and decide you don't want to keep it, please contact us first. If you are a dog fighter, want to chain our dogue to a tree, or a breeder with a bad reputation we are not interested in selling to you. Originally used for cattle-droving and guarding the vineyards in Bordeaux, this pugnacious, pug-faced French warrior has survived within a hair of extinction through one national revolution, two World Wars and the Hollywood adventure Turner and Hooch.

Sometimes referred to as the French Mastiff, Bordeaux Bulldog or simply “DDB,” the Dogue de Bordeaux has had an interesting background and development through the last six centuries.

An extremely cooperative, intelligent and fearless giant, the Dogue de Bordeaux has persisted in various vocations throughout the centuries, a testament to the breed’s versatility and adaptability. Since the 1400's, the Dogue de Bordeaux has had many jobs: herding cattle, flock guarding, and movie acting. Powerful and surprisingly athletic, the Dogue de Bordeaux has never been intimadated and makes and excellent guardian. Beneath all that toughness, there lies a sweet, sincere lovable character that makes a wonderful companion.
